It sure wasn't easy completing his NUS Environmental Engineering Degree with first class honours while pursuing his decorated basketball career in the national team and Singapore Slingers! 

As a full-time coach at SG Basketball, Shengyu strives to inculcate the values of discipline, perseverance and time-management, encouraging his trainees to allocate sufficient time and energy in different aspects of their lives.
